Spiegelau, being the oldest active glassmaker in Europe soon celebrating its 500 years, is the world leader in developing special beer specific glasses which have the highest technical precision just like our acclaimed crystal wine glasses, celebrated around Sweden and the world in Michelin starred restaurants.

The world's first beer specific glass, the Spiegelau India Pale Ale glass, was developed through a series of meticulous tasting workshops with owners of America's two iconing IPA brands, Ken Grossman of Sierra Nevada and Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head.

Today, Spiegelau is the uncontested pioneer of beer specific drinking tools, focusing on the highest quality craft beer styles.

For the first time at a public event in Sweden, visitors of the Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival will have a chance to taste the Spiegelau craft beer glass collection, with the highly acclaimed IPA glass within the lineup.

The tasting will be held by Kornel Dura, who has conducted hundreds of Spiegelau and Riedel glass seminars around Europe in the last decade.
