Tomatin - Embrace the Spirit of the Highlands.
Graham Eunson - Tomatin Distillery manager, will lead you ever so gently through our core range of 12 year old sherried , 15 year old Bourbon influenced and the multi award winning 18 year old . There will  be some other special treats.  It will be enlightening, amusing and refreshing !

Tomatin ( rhymes  with satin ) was once the largest distillery in Scotland. With 23 stills it produced up to 12 million litres of alcohol for its own single malt and also for many leading blends. To this day Tomatin  maintains its reputation for creating a fine, light, unpeated  Spirit. There are less stills today but the quality remains.

Graham Robert Eunson was born 1964 and brought up in Orkney, a group of islands off the north coast of Scotland. He started in the whisky industry at Scapa Distillery, one of the two distilleries on Orkney, initially as a warehouse operator before progressing into production roles in both the mash house and still house.
In 1992 Graham moved into the office to became a trainee brewer before being transferred to Glendronach Distillery in Aberdeenshire in January 1994 as brewer. Glendronach at the time still operated their own floor maltings and also used coal fired stills.

In October 1996 he moved to Glenmorangie as assistant manager before taking on the role of Glenmorangie Distillery Manager in 1998. During the next 10 years, Mr Eunson oversaw all aspects of production and maturation, increased the distillery capacity and spent time carrying out the brands ambassador role.

2008, Mr Eunson departed Glenmorangie to take on the project of re-opening Glenglassaugh Distillery after 22 years of closure. The first 10 months were to be spent re-furbishing the plant and buildings ready for production to commence in late 2008.

In 2011 having overseen the resurrection of Glenglassaugh, an opportunity arose to join the Tomatin team in the position of Distillery General Manager. Responsibilities include all aspects of distillery production, maturation, wood management, strategies and future planning – an interesting and challenging role.

Interests out-with whisky include playing golf, going to the cinema, reading mostly fiction, DIY, landscape gardening and spending time with friends and family.
