Drew Mayville has more than 32 years of experience with some of the largest companies in the beverage alcohol industry. Drew is currently the Master Blender and Director of Quality for Sazerac Company. Since joining Buffalo Trace Distillery in 2004 as Director of Quality, he has taken on additional responsibilities including new product development and overseeing Sazerac’ s Canadian operations. He has worked hands on with all the award-winning products produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery.

Drew will present a 5 step tasting journey. Taking you from the unoaked Buffalo Trace White Dog to the multiple award-winning and critically acclaimed George T Stagg. A tasting that will give you a deep understanding of not only Bourbon but of how the heavy charred American oak barrels develops the whiskey with age.  

Within the past decade, Buffalo Trace has won more awards than any other distillery in the world, including an unmatched seven "Distillery of the Year" titles. Still family-owned and located in Franklin County, Kentucky, the distillery's rich history includes such legendary distillers as E.H. Taylor, Jr, George T. Stagg, Albert B. Blanton, Orville Schupp and Elmer T. Lee.
